Purgatorium part 5, After The Breaking

All is silent now, the screams have ceased
Hate scorched to dust
The existence of every tormentor in her life
Wiped out
A nuclear blow
A ruthless demise
A fire that does not burn, but devours
Devours all

How do we know to stop until it’s too late?
How do we explain the origin of hate?
Push it to the limit, run the tide
Fuel the explosion building inside

Fools!
You thought your sins would come undone?
Fools!
Your lust for destruction has become your own

Now all is gone, remaining one
Lone survivor of a war soon to come
And when her eyes set upon the first light
She spreads her only wing and takes flight

Your words are so powerful, Malicia… I can clearly hear you through them!
