One. Two. Three.
Empty, somber apartment. The hunt has begun.
Touch. Sense. My fingers caress each silvery surface slowly. Searching for the devil.
It’s in the walls. It’s in the halls. It’s in every breath I take. It’s the clock keeping me awake.
Check the kitchen. Check the living room. Check every damned thought in this putrid brain. Search for the impure ones. Eliminate them.
One. Two. Three.
Passing the window. Jump. Free fall. The ground is hard and unforgiving. Bone shafts break and brains splatter. Screams and crying.
Back in the apartment. Checking the corners. Searching for the devil.
It’s in the walls. It’s in the halls. It’s in every breath I take. It’s the clock keeping me awake.
Always awake.

Another one about OCD. God can this disorder be exhausting.
